It’s a procedure that can be performed in the office and whiten teeth up to eight shades in a single treatment, although follow-ups may be necessary if certain stains persist. Your dental assistant will apply a protective coating to your gums to prevent the bleaching agent from irritating them during the procedure. They will then apply the bleaching agent to your teeth. The assistant will use Blue LED light-accelerated technology to activate the agent three times. After removing the bleach and protective agent you’ll get instant gratification when you check out your newly whitened teeth. Your dentist will instruct you on how to care for your teeth after the procedure. If you would prefer to perform the whitening in the comfort of your own home, there is a take-home kit complete with trays and bleach that will bring similar results.

With Sierra Smiles’ CEREC machine, we can prepare inlays, onlays, crowns and veneers in a single visit. CEREC prints crowns in minutes in comparison to timelines of two to three weeks in labs. That means we can save you time in the chair in addition to providing you quick relief for a potentially painful or embarrassing problem.
CEREC works using a 3D image scan and x-rays of your teeth to create a 3D image of your mouth, assessing where the problem area is. Utilizing the scans, CEREC builds out a replacement with help from your dentist to ensure that it is cosmetically accurate and properly adjusted to fit your smile. Once the build is determined, CEREC prints the new crown or replacement components so they can be fitted and placed in your mouth as quickly as possible. While same-day printing and placement is not always possible, we do our very best to correct the problem in one visit.
