Dr. John Bocchi, DDS

Dr. John Bocchi is an accomplished dentist, entrepreneur, and innovator with over 20 years of experience in the dental field.  He graduated from Marquette University Dental School in 2005 and founded Sierra Smiles Complete Health Dentistry in 2006, with the goal of integrating oral health into overall wellness. Today, he operates three successful locations across Northern Nevada, including in Reno and Lake Tahoe, where he continues to provide top-notch care to the community.

A leader in Complete Health Dentistry, Dr. Bocchi is deeply passionate about how oral health impacts overall well-being. His expertise extends beyond traditional dental care. In 2023, he founded Sierra Sleep Airway and Wellness to address airway health and sleep issues, offering innovative solutions to improve patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Bocchi is also one of the world’s foremost experts in cognitive health. He is the second dentist in the world to become certified in ReCODE 2.0, a groundbreaking program developed by Dr. Dale Bredesen, author of The End of Alzheimer’s. ReCODE 2.0 is a revolutionary approach to reversing cognitive decline, and Dr. Bocchi is proud to integrate these protocols into his patient care, helping people not only preserve their smiles but their cognitive health as well.

Dr. Bocchi’s outstanding work has earned him numerous awards and recognition, including being named Top Cosmetic Dentist by Reno Magazine, multi-time winner of Best Dentist in Northern Nevada by Reno News & Review, and Complete Health Dentist of the Year by Next Level Practice. A past president of the Nevada Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Bocchi was named one of Reno Gazette Journal’s Top 40 Under 40, underscoring his leadership and impact both in dentistry and in his community.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Bocchi enjoys spending time with his wife, Jen, and their two children, Keira and Kipton. He’s an avid outdoorsman with hobbies that include fishing, hiking, biking, snowboarding, camping, and boating. Travel and photography are also important passions, allowing him to capture moments with his family while exploring the world.

With a holistic approach to health, a passion for innovation, and a deep commitment to his patients and family, Dr. Bocchi continues to lead the way in both dentistry and cognitive health.

Dr. Megan Archer, DMD

Dr. Archer strives to provide quality and comprehensive care to each patient she encounters. She believes all the details matter, and that includes taking the time to help patients understand the connection between the mouth and the body. It is her intention to make patients comfortable at every visit and have patients leave appointments feeling confident in their smile.

As a native Nevadan, she grew up in Reno and attended undergraduate school at UNR. She then went on to receive her dental degree from Oregon Health and Science University. She knew she wanted to move back home and is proud to serve the Northern Nevada community.

Outside of the office, Dr. Archer enjoys leaning into her artistic side and having the freedom to be creative. She is obsessed with her pets and also enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time with her loved ones.

Dr. Archer is a third generation member of the dental field. Her Grandfather was an Orthodontist and her Uncle was a Prosthodontist. Both Practiced in Reno and she is excited to continue the family tradition in the dental field.

Dr. Archer is a member of the ADA and NNDS and enjoys networking and collaborating with other Dentists.

Dr. Lucas McShosh, DDS

Dr. McShosh prides himself on exceptional patient care and optimal oral health and complete health services. He believes that each patient presents with unique needs, and through compassion and the use of modern technology and innovation techniques, he seeks to offer the best possible care for this patient and community. 

Dr. McShosh is originally from Michigan, earning both his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. McShosh has a passion for volunteering, working at clinics for the uninsured and underserved, participating in Mission of Mercy, a mission to the Dominican Republic, and Give Kids a Smile. He also loves the sport of hockey, and has played or coached since he was 8 years old. He looks forward to coaching and developing the sport in Nevada, especially with the new ice arena in Reno. 

Dr. McShosh is excited to be a part of the Lake Tahoe community and is eager to provide the very best dental and complete health treatment possible for his patients in a gentle and caring manner.

Dr. Randall Pane, DDS

Dr. Randall Pane is dedicated to providing the finest quality dentistry for his patients and has been in private practice for more than 25 years.

Dr. Pane was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and earned a BS in biology from Loyola University in Chicago. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1995. 

Dr. Pane met his wife Michele, a Reno native, while attending dental school (she’s a dental hygienist at this office!). They are the proud parents of five children, and Dr. Pane enjoys spending his free time with them. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and building Hot Rods–he still has his first car, a 1957 Chevy.

Dr. Samina Quidwai, DDS

Originally from Spokane, Washington, Dr. Quidwai received both her undergraduate and dental degrees from University of Washington in Seattle. She has a passion for working with underserved populations, and has participated in dental humanitarian programs in Haiti, Jamaica, rural Montana mobile vans, inner-city Seattle homeless shelters, and long-term care facilities.

When not in the office, Dr. Quidwai can be found out on the trails in Tahoe, mountain biking, skiing, or hiking with family, friends, and her two yellow Labrador retrievers.

Dr. Ricciardi, DDS

Dr. Ricciardi is a highly accomplished dentist, recognized both nationally and internationally for his expertise. He is one of only 500+ dentists worldwide to earn the prestigious title of Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID)—a distinction that represents the highest level of competence in the field. Notably, he is the only dentist in Northern Nevada with this accreditation and one of only three Diplomates in the entire state.

To achieve this elite status, Dr. Ricciardi underwent a rigorous credentialing process that required a minimum of seven years practicing implant dentistry, detailed case presentations reviewed by an expert panel, and successful completion of both comprehensive written and oral examinations.

A Reno native, Dr. Ricciardi earned his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno (1997–2001), and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2005. He completed a general practice residency through the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2006, where he focused on IV conscious sedation, implant surgery, and the care of medically compromised patients.

His passion for implant dentistry led him to pursue advanced training through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry's MaxiCourse in 2014. He became an Associate Fellow of the AAID in 2016 and was invited to join the Advanced Dental Implant Studies group in Atlanta, Georgia, where he trained under the guidance of renowned implantologist Dr. Edward Mills.

Dr. Ricciardi is committed to lifelong learning, having completed over 2,000 hours of implant-related continuing education. He holds fellowships in several respected dental organizations, including:

Dedicated to serving his community, Dr. Ricciardi has volunteered with several outreach initiatives, including Adopt a Vet, Give Kids a Smile, and the Northern Nevada Dental Health Program. He believes dentistry is a unique blend of art, science, and compassion—a way to improve lives through both health and confidence.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ricciardi enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, golfing, snowboarding, hiking and cooking.
