Meet The Team

Born in Reno and raised in the small town of Bridgeport, CA, Kayla brings both hometown warmth and big-picture leadership to everything she does. A proud graduate of the TMCC Dental Assisting program, she joined Sierra Smiles in 2009 and quickly became an indispensable part of the team. For 14 years, Kayla worked alongside Dr. Bocchi, developing her clinical skills and becoming a trusted presence for patients and peers alike. Today, she serves as the Team Lead at the Sierra Smiles Kietzke and Damonte Ranch locations, where she’s known for her calm leadership, commitment to excellence, and deep care for both patients and her team. Outside the office, Kayla is equally driven. She and her husband are proud parents to three amazing kids and four dogs—life is always lively in their home! Inspired by her daughter, Kayla serves as the President of the Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada, a nonprofit devoted to inclusion, advocacy, and community education. Through her work, she’s helping to create a more understanding and supportive world for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Kayla is a fierce advocate, a compassionate leader, and a dedicated mom—and she brings her whole heart to everything she does.
